Great prices on a classic old boat ramp/dock restaurant hidden in a neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. Far from upscale, but classic waterfront fried seafood offerings you expect from a borderline historic looking building. I ordered softshell crabs, they were good sized plump and tasty. There is no garnish, but if you enjoy softshells with a quick dip in batter and a crispy golden brown exterior, come give this old school to frills place a visit. Enjoy the sceneic view off the waterfront deck.

I go when ever i am in Virginia my grandparents are the owners but i would recommend pancakes for breakfast and a patty melt or burger for dinner and the employees are very nice and always have conversations to help it go faster.

A traditional Poquoson restaurant, a great place to get a cheap, delicious meal that tastes home cooked in a place full of southern hospitality and marine related decor, located right on the water with both car and boat parking available, boat gas station available, and great cheap drinks available as well. They sell a selection of beers as well as cigarettes and lighters (they do check ID!). I highly recommend the Steak sandwich, it's my absolute favorite thing there because it's literally a folded flank steak grilled and placed on toasted bread, served with your choice of steak sauce.

Once inside it has a charming down home atmosphere with a great view & friendly staff. Food is okay. This place has tremendous untapped potential hidden by a facade that wards off all but the locals & the most adventurous

I loved eating here, had breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the last few days. All the meals were both filling and delicious. And their burgers and fries are just awesome for both lunch or dinner. The owner and her ladies were beautiful, super friendly, and gave great service. I will definitely eat here when I'm back in Poquoson again!

Friendly staff and customers, neighborhood feel right on the water. Beautiful setting! Eat inside or out by the water. Now, the food; we got the flounder sandwich with onion rings. The flounder filets were huge! The breading was perfect and the fish so fresh, cooked to perfection. The onion rings were the best I've had in a long time. And that dipping sauce! Yum!

A favorite local place with great food and views.

My wife and I ate breakfast here when we were visiting family and we were both quite impressed. It's not a fancy place, but the food was great. I had the french toast and bacon, as well as coffee and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in quite a while. The staff is very friendly and they get your order to you quickly while not making you feel rushed. And you certainly can't go wrong with being right on the water!If you're looking for a good breakfast I highly recommend Owen's.

Simple breakfast right on the water. It was my first time there, but the staff made me feel like a regular. If I lived nearby, I'd go all the time. I hear if you go bright and early, you might even spot an otter! Unfortunately, I was leaving out of state that day and didn't have a chance to check back.

Down home cooking. We had the crab legs, very good! Beer only. Bring wine for a corking fee.

Owens is the unrefined "greasy spoon" diner type of place but it's no greasy spoon in a bad way - the food is wonderful if you're willing to be patient and wait. If you want a really laid-back and enjoyably casual eating experience where you can take your time and sip a few beers and just chill out while waiting for a great meal to be served, then do not miss the chance to eat at Owens. They have outdoor seating on the water with spectacularly long water views. Here's a little secret that needs to be shared : they have the best bacon double cheeseburger loaded all the way that money could buy. I have not had a better Burger than the one they serve up here at Owens.If you want to get up for an early Sunrise Breakfast don't pass on Annie's garbage eggs. Serve with home fries or grits you'll leave feeling like you've got your money's worth with a great breakfast under your belt to start the day.

Very pleasant, nice friendly atmosphere, beautiful setting and scenery, and good homemade food. Come and enjoy yourself.

I enjoyed the breakfast and hospitality. They are a hour and a half from were I live but will definitely be going back. Cant wait to sit outside and have a cup of coffee as the sun comes up. Nancy is a great hostess.

While the food can take awhile to come out (especially if they're busy), it's worth the wait. Great views and outdoor seating.

I have no idea how the restaurant is but I wanted to rate the fact that they have a boat ramp right beside the building...I just spoke with an employee on the phone. $10 to put in if you have a trailer and only $5 to put in if you have kayaks or canoe on top of your vehicle. This area looks awesome to paddle around and there looks like there is a tiny and secluded strip of beach sand.

Ate here for about a month while living on my uncles boat at the marina and I still can't wait to go back and eat there again.
